An
old established shop which was one of the very first shops I
know of to sell grass and hash by the gram., - I remember
some years ago watching "the man" cutting me a gram of black
hash with a large knife with amazing accuracy - one cut was
exactly 1 gram to 3 decimal places on the electronic
scales.
Good
Menu and they do excellent hash "bon-bons" and "space cake"
in addition to "special" tea and coffee.- ask for these at
the coffee bar.
Easy
entrance via wide door and a gently sloping, seemingly
purpose built, wooden ramp.
Plenty
of space inside, there is a separate
area at the back for
Dope sales with a low-ish counter which is also very
accessible.
Staff
very friendly and I was informed that an average of 2
wheelchair users visit the shop every week of the year.
There is space to sit round a table.
Getting
There:from
the Dam monument, face the Krasnapolsky Hotel. Warmoesstraat
is the street to the left of the hotel, Sheeba is 2-300
yards up on the right hand side, watch out for the
illuminated street sign ahead of you. Best to go early in
the day as Warmoesstraat at night can become very crowded
and road traffic heavy.
