Dutch
Flowers-
Singel
387. Very modernist interior - note the shelves on the back
wall which slant at an alarming angle yet still support CD`s
etc.! one of the windows (pictured) overlooks a canal and it
is also nice to sit outside on warm days. About
a dozen or so quality grasses on the menu, together with
some good rare Hash, also does cigars made from grass - what
the Americans nick-name "Philly Blunts". Sells
alcohol. Dutch
Flowers. (That little orange blur middle left is Tweede
Kamers shop sign) Getting
there.
This
is quite a long way from the Dam but worth the effort, a
bonus being that two other top shops, "De Dampkring" and
"Tweede Kamer", are very close by. Take a no.1 or 2 Tram to
"Spui" (pronounced "Spoy") keep on the right hand side of
the road, walk around the corner into Spuistraat, look
across the road and you will see a little alley dividing a
restaurant from other shops, this is Heisteeg,
"Dutch
Flowers" is
down the
bottom
of Heisteeg on the left.
No
Access for Wheelchairs and difficult for other disabled -
